“Our mission is to maximize societal impact
through philanthropy by fostering unity,
building a collective knowledge base,
and promoting collaboration”

1. Mapping service that follows

philanthropic giving by donors and NGOs.

Philanthropists and their professionals will be able to see at a glance which philanthropists share their priorities and which projects they support in the category. This offers philanthropists a transparent view of the map of their interest areas in terms of fellow supporters and programs garnering significant support. There is a plethora of reasons for social investment in the Charedi community. Yet, a conversation with co-supporters often leadsto an alignment of projects and useful collaboration that can extend the reach of philanthropic dollars. Charedi Impact will update the information from member foundations every 3 months. The site will be fully secure and will only be available to member philanthropists and their professionals. There will be no solicitation permitted on the platform.

2. Independent verification of each project.

The goals, financials, and KPIs.

Our team is led by Mimi Kamilar, a veteran philanthropy consultant, and Elie Gough, a CPA formerly at Deloitte and the Israel Nonprofit Registrar. Our team will meet with each NGO listed on Charedi Impact. Our analysis will be posted on the site including their mission, KPIs, and financials. This will offer other philanthropists a quick view into the organizations you have prioritized, and an opportunity for them to join you in reaching your objectives or ask questions about your favorite projects. We will revisit each NGO twice a year, to gather new information and ensure that the information remains current.

3. Receive proprietary news alerts
on the latest data and sector update.

Ronny Barboy has decades of experience in research, public policy, think tanks, and government. The Charedi Impact platform will include informed reports on trends and sector interests that will help with philanthropic decision-making. Ronny is especially skilled at accessing the results of surveys and collected data and presenting the outcomes in a useful manner.

4. Work through proposals to see if and
where the government can partner
or take over the project.

The government of Israel is by far the largest financial contributor to Israeli nonprofits. With the proper approach, the government is more likely to provide seed funding for a promising project, or fully fund a project once its concept is proven. Zeev Sklar is a Belzer Chassid, a graduate of Bar Ilan and Tel Aviv Universities, and a Harvard Business School leadership program graduate. His expertise lies in mediating collaborations between philanthropy and government. Zev will be available to the philanthropists in an advisory capacity, to review projects and advise with regards to bringing the government on board as a funding partner.

5. Source operators and organizations to
undertake and manage specific projects
based on individual request.

Often, we find engaged philanthropists may have a strong desire to launch a specific initiative with the desired outcomes and results. We will, with the help of our experts in each field, help the philanthropist engage with the relevant organization(s) and then accompany a project from idea to fruition where appropriate.

6. Facilitate discussions between foundations
and their professionals with each other…

The Charedi Impact platform is designed to connect and share information among philanthropists and to improve communication between donors with similar goals or those who are contributing to similar projects. The need to facilitate discussion and share knowledge is critical if we are to make a difference as a group and community. Charedi Impact is available to facilitate frontal presentations or group meetings on the subjects of common interest.

The site is fully moderated, and members will receive
notifications per their wishes and requests.
